Fire preparedness
This map shows the Bushfire Places of Last Resort (BPLR) in and around Greater Bendigo.
A BPLR is a place of last resort. It does not guarantee your safety. Use it only when all other plans have failed. To leave early is always the safest option.
What to bring
A BPLR has no supplies. If you shelter at a BPLR, bring:
- Food and water
- Protective clothing
- Pet food
- Mobile phone
- Radio
- First aid kit and medications
